Lewis is a happy, smiley two year old little boy who absolutely loves to be in the water! He loves to go swimming every week with his foster carer, where he splashes around and has a wonderful time. When at home Lewis likes to play with bright toys and particularly likes twinkly lights and sensory lights and toys.
He is a happy and smiley little boy and will especially give great big smiles to his foster carer. He likes to go out with his foster carer and to go to play groups, but is also very happy playing at home. Lewis likes music and loves to be sung to.
Lewis is looking for a very special family who can see his bright personality and determination, as well as meet all of his extra care needs.
Lewis has hydrocephalus, which means he has a shunt fitted in his brain to drain fluid from his brain. He has global developmental delay and also has to have specialist feeds through a feeding tube, as well as having a number of medications every day. He also has epilepsy and has regular seizures.
He is looking for a loving family who can dedicate lots of time to meeting his care needs, give him lots of love and attention and help him to reach his potential, whatever this may be.
There are lots of uncertainties about Lewis's future and it is possible his condition is life limiting. Everyone who knows Lewis would love him to find a family who can give him the security of a loving home for life.
