New Year, New Family

We want to hear from anyone thinking of starting or growing their family through adoption in 2024.

New year can be a time when you consider making a change to your life. If this change is to grow your family – then think about adoption and what a huge change this could make to a child's life in Lancashire or Blackpool.

Our children

We have children of all ages, including babies and sibling groups, who need loving families.

Adopting a child or sibling group is one of the most worthwhile things that you can do. It transforms the lives of children and of those it touches.

Meet Sarah and Gemma: we are currently looking for sisters Sarah and Gemma, who are best of friends and looking for a family to love and support them.

Hear from some our adopters who have transformed their lives through adoption.

Rachael's story: after several years trying for a family, including a couple of rounds of IVF, Rachael and her husband chose to look into adoption and soon had a feeling that this is what they were meant to do all along.

Shelly and Isla's story: they jumped in feet first adopting 2 brothers, a baby and a toddler. The boys enriched not only the lives of Shelly and Isla, but the lives of their extended family too.

Support and training

We have lots of experience in helping find parents for children who need a loving, stable and permanent home and we are here to support you every step of your journey.

We know that adoption is a big life-changing decision and we will offer all the support and training you need. We will try to find the best match between your circumstances and the children we have who need a forever home.

Who we are looking for

You can adopt if you are over 21, and live in Lancashire, Blackpool or close by.

There is no such thing as a typical adopter. We welcome applications from people of any sexuality or gender. We have lots of excellent single adopters too, so you don’t have to be married or have a partner either.

What matters most is that you can open your hearts and your homes to a child who may have not had the greatest start in life.
