Charlotte

Meet Charlotte – A happy little girl looking for a loving family.

Charlotte is 13 months old and full of smiles. She’s a cheerful, sociable little girl who loves playing with her toys, watching fun shows like Ms. Rachel, listening to stories, and going out in her pram. She enjoys being around other children and animals and is a joy to care for.

Charlotte has come a long way in her foster home and is now ready for a permanent family who can give her love, patience, and support. She has some delays in her development — she can roll over but isn’t yet sitting up, crawling, or standing. She’s starting to babble but hasn’t said any words yet. She also finds it tricky to feed herself and hold food, but her foster carers are helping her with this.

Charlotte’s movements can be a bit stiff, and doctors are looking into this. Her birth mum drank alcohol during pregnancy, which means Charlotte might have Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), but it’s too early to know for sure. She’s getting extra help from health services, including physiotherapy and Portage support, and has a mild foot condition (positional talipes) that usually improves with time.

Charlotte needs a family who can support her health and help her grow and reach her full potential. Could you be the one to give Charlotte the loving home she deserves? To start your adoption journey with us book on to one of our information events. You will meet our friendly and experienced First Steps team, who will be able to answer any questions you may have and will support you from the very start.
