You can adopt

Becoming an adopter is easier than you think

#YouCanAdopt is a nationwide adopter recruitment campaign which aims to raise awareness of adoption and bust myths around who is eligible.  The campaign aims to welcome families from all communities, but especially the black African and Caribbean communities.

You can adopt regardless of

  • your gender
  • relationship status
  • age
  • your occupation or salary
  • your ethnic or religious background
  • if you are employed or on benets, as long as you are financially secure and able to support a child
  • whether you own or rent your home
  • if you already have children, or if you have none

Love, time and commitment to a child are three of the most important attributes you can have to adopt a child.
